Sus inicios y carrera médica
El Dr. Edward Bach fue un especialista en patología, bacteriología y homeopatía. Nació en 1886 en Moseley. Empezó sus estudios de medicina en 1906 en Birmingham University, para trasladarse más tarde al University College de Londres, donde completó sus estudios en 1912.
Después de algunos años de practicar la medicina en Londres con mucho éxito, se encontró con un hecho curioso: algunos pacientes que tenían la misma enfermedad tenían algunas otras características similares, como su postura, su forma de hablar, sus gestos y sus expresiones. Empezó entonces a analizar a sus pacientes no solo por sus enfermedades y síntomas, sino por sus personalidades.
En 1930, con 43 años, el Dr. Bach cerró su laboratorio y su consultorio y se fue a Gales para buscar más remedios en la naturaleza. Una mañana temprano, atravesando un campo lleno de rocío, se le ocurrió que cada gota de rocío, calentada por el sol, adquiría las propiedades curativas de la planta donde se encontraba. Esto lo llevó a desarrollar un método para preparar los remedios utilizando agua pura.
Después de experimentar los efectos de algunas tinturas de flores consigo mismo, y luego con plantas y animales, empieza a probar sus remedios con pacientes, recetándoles remedios de acuerdo a su tipo de personalidad en lugar de a sus síntomas. Debido a los sorprendentes resultados que obtiene, decide tomar una nueva filosofía en su investigación: Para corregir una enfermedad física, es necesario primero corregir los problemas mentales y emocionales del paciente. En el año 1931 publicó el libro Cúrese usted mismo, con el mensaje de que la enfermedad es el resultado de estar en desarmonía con el propósito espiritual. Se publicó en 1931 y continúa publicándose desde entonces.
¿Por qué te propongo utilizarlas en tu proceso de transformación?
Para responderte voy a relatarte cual y cómo fue mi experiencia con las Flores de Bach. Creo que no hay nada que pueda compararse con la propia vivencia.
Era el año 2009. Finalizaba el curso de Formación como Practitioner. Tenía que elegir una flor. Solo una de acuerdo a como me percibía emocional y mentalmente. Muchos años antes había tomado Flores de Bach y me habían ayudado totalmente con una amenorrea por la que transité a mis 19 años. Muy apenada con mi falta de menstruación sin causa física, había averiguado en el Norte de Argentina, en conversación con una curandera, que la planta “Muña Muña” [1]podría ayudarme. De regreso en Buenos Aires entré a una herboristería y quien me atendió me preguntó que necesitaba y para qué. Al contarle comencé a llorar. Eran las 14 hs de un día soleado, estaba por dar una función de títeres en un jardín de infantes. El mundo, mi mundo, colapsó.
La vendedora me ofreció tomar flores de Bach (tendrán algo que ver con la música, me pregunté) estaba tan desconsolada y perdida de mi misma…que acepté. Así comenzó el proceso que me llevo finalmente, en unos largos meses, volver a menstruar. En ese momento no se me ocurrió preguntar qué flores estaba tomando. Solo deje que actura esa poción mágica. Y actuó.
Vuelvo al año 2009. Ahora me tocaba a mi misma entender mi estado mental y emocional y además elegir una y solo una flor.
Me decidí por Holly. Me sentía con mi corazón cerrado. Cerrada para sentir un amor que no sea restrictivo a mis más cercanas compañías. Me di cuenta que sólo estaba amando a mis hijos y mi marido, le seguían mis padres y hermano casi como una prolongación incuestionada. ¿Me amaba a mi misma?, ¿Qué me pasaba con todo el resto de la gente que conocía?, amigos, alumnos, compañeros de actividades…me sentía cerrada a poder demostrar lo que me ocurría, lo que sentía. Esa noche soñé con una ex amiga de la escuela primaria con la cual siempre me había sentido mal tratada, desvalorizada, y en especial soñé con un momento en el cual me sentí engañada, dejada de lado, excluida. Lo compartí al día siguiente, la profesora sugirió que siguiera con Willow. Y así comenzó ese viaje hacia adentro, hacia la discriminación de emociones, al reencuentro conmigo misma. Viaje en el cual estoy desde entonces sumergida. Fueron aflorando recuerdos, sentimientos.
Pude descubrirme con muy poco amor hacia mi misma. Frente al espejo no me aceptaba, ni en mi imagen física, ni en mis comportamientos. Me encontré muy enojada, muy irritable. No eran estados desconocidos, nada había aparecido de golpe, sin embargo en unos pocos meses, esos estados aparecieron pidiendo “¡por favor, hace algo!” Que haga algo con ellos, que los acepte e incluya para poder transformarlos.
El sufrimiento es beneficioso, porque nos indica por dónde buscar la comprensión de lo que ocurre.
El proceso evolutivo acontece cuando asumimos nuestra responsabilidad en crecer, incorporamos nuestra esencia y le damos una expresión coherente. Tenemos la fuerza necesaria para vencer los estados de estancamiento si descubrimos quién somos y el significado de la Vida.
¿Para quien son las flores?
Las flores son para todos, tienen la cualidad de despertar una esperanza en que un cambio hacia el bienestar y la salud es posible.
Pueden tomarlas adultos, niños, bebes.
[1] Muña Muña: Su nombre científico es Micromria Eugeniodes. Es una planta muy usada en las provincias de Salta y Tucumán, y muy conocida en las sierras del norte, donde abunda. Da muy buenos resultados en casos de calambres de vientre, dolores de estomago en general, acidez, indigestión, cólicos. Además, está comprobado que ella infusion está indicado para mujeres que tienen menstruaciones escasas o muy atrasadas.
GUIA Y USO DE LAS ESENCIAS FLORALES DE BACH
